A Taste of France in Peddler's Village
What better way to celebrate the official start of summer than participating in the Peddler’s Village, Paris in the Village Festival? Located mere steps away from the Golden Plough Inn, the festival takes place June 23-26 and has a variety of different activities for visitors to experience French culture and cuisine. Be sure to reserve your place for a French Wine dinner at Earl’s New American on Thursday, June 23. All you wine aficionados will want to taste the 25 different French wines being offered at the French Wine Strolls through the Village on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26. All amateur sleuths should consider participating in the "Murder at the Moulin Rouge" murder mystery dinner taking place Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 at 7 PM on both evenings. The open-air show will surely bring out everyone’s inner Sherlock Holmes. There will also be a "Madeleine" afternoon tea and buffet on Saturday afternoon at the Cock ‘N Bull Restaurant. Speaking of the Cock ‘N Bull, make a point to stop by the restaurant any time between Friday and Sunday in order to sample some of the French specialties that they will be serving. To cap off a splendid festival experience, try the Parisian Brunch at the Cock ‘N Bull Restaurant where French specialties and sweets will be featured for only $35 per person.
