Crossing The Vineyard
Bucks County's award-winning winery, aptly named Crossing Vineyards and Winery, is less than a mile from the place George Washington crossed the Delaware River in 1776. History aside, at the hands of a passionate young winemaker, this 200-year-old Bucks County estate produces a very contemporary selection of stellar wines and offers free tours and tastings in a newly renovated tasting room. In addition, there's a full calendar of winemaker dinners, concerts and educational programs so you can sharpen your oenophile skills with like-minded Bucks County visitors. The next one explores how to select cheese to complement your favorite wines (on Sunday, November 9 at 2 pm). The "Wine & Spirits" Tarot Card Reading & Wine Tasting on Nov. 13 sounds fun, too.
