Time for Fall Festivals

Little boy next to scarecrow

Summer’s winding down and that means crisp fall air is on its way to Bucks County. Now it's time for a few of our favorite seasonal events, like the annual Scarecrow Festival at Peddler’s Village on September 19th and 20th. Visitors can enjoy scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin pie-eating contests and pumpkin painting, as well as lots of live musical entertainment and games for kids. (You do have to register for the scarecrow-making workshops ahead of time, so make sure to call ahead!) Scarecrows competing in the annual Scarecrow Competition will be on display for visitors to see and cast their vote. Pick up a ballot and pick your favorite, and then head back to the Golden Plough Inn and warm up in front of one of our in-suite fireplaces.

Address: Peddler’s Village, New Hope
